Kensar Equipment, headquartered in Indianapolis, has just announced the new www.kensar.com “2.0” version with Video Demos of used forklifts, aerial lifts, personnel carriers and more. “When we began selling used material handling equipment online 15 years ago, many of the traditional dealerships believed it was impossible to sell heavy equipment on the internet,” president, Ken Sarbaugh notes. “Guess they got it wrong. Now all types of equipment are sold online,” he adds.
The company is keeping the website format and flow similar to their prior version so their regular customers and dealers remain comfortable with the site. However, there is a fresh, new look, and the most important new function is the addition of the “Video Demo” for Kensar’s used equipment. Why was video needed? The company sells material handling and aerial lift equipment throughout North America and it’s difficult for most customers to come to their Indianapolis headquarters for demos. Now, with many “New Arrivals” featured on www.kensar.com there will be a video of the equipment in motion, plus video of the engine compartment or other important features. The Video Demos will gradually be added so that most equipment on the website will have viewable video in addition to still photos, a product description and pricing.
Another new feature on the new version of the Kensar Equipment website is translations available in Spanish and French for their Latin American and Canadian customers. Kensar has always offered both affordable pricing and very reasonably-priced shipping from Indiana, which is called “The Crossroads of America” for good reason. Over the years, their sales have expanded well beyond U.S. borders.
Kensar Equipment was founded in 1996 by Ken Sarbaugh, President and Mitch Wallace, Vice President. They began selling used lift trucks, scissor lifts, boom lifts and golf carts on www.kensar.com in 1998 as a way to expand sales beyond their in-person coverage in the Indianapolis area.
Today the company operates from a 45,000 sq. ft. building off I-465. They have over $1.5 million worth of inventory on 6 acres which represents approximately 250 used industrial vehicles of many different brands.
“Our customers still talk to the owners when they call Kensar, just as they did when we started our business in 1996. We will always give people personal service, no matter whether they call or contact us from our website,” says Ken Sarbaugh, President of Kensar Equipment. Kensar Equipment is located at 2415 W. Thompson Rd., Indianapolis, IN 46217, USA. You can contact them at: 888-272-0601 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
